Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is to be granted to any member of Maine Water Utilities Association who has made a significant contribution to our profession.

The lifetime achievement award is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the water profession as evidenced by their professional and or personal commitment.

To be eligible, candidates must have twenty plus years of service and/or contribution to the treatment and delivery of safe drinking water. Contributions include support by vendors or consultants that offer a service to a utility in delivery of safe drinking water. These candidates may include water utilities employees, either past or present, private water companies employees, past or present, vendors, and consultants. The Board of Directors of Maine Water Utilities reserves the right to add any professional outside those listed above when that professional is deemed as worthy.

Frequency of the Award: As deserved.

Eligibility for the Award: The award may be awarded posthumously at any age. Contributions to the water profession may have been in any of the many facets of disciplines of the field.
