The Maine Water Utilities Association is a non-profit member organization that represents the water works professional membership in advocating safe drinking water through education, legislation, policy and networking.
The Executive Director is responsible for leadership and management of all aspects of the organization, in collaboration and direction of the Board. The successful candidate will carry out the mission of the organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the annual budget and revenue support, demonstrate lobbying experience and matters related to the water works profession.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree related to public water supply and management, engineering, life sciences, business management, communications, or similar fields. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership/managerial role accompanied with financial experience.
This is a full-time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefit package including; retirement, health insurance and generous leave benefits.
Pay range is $95,000 – $130,000
