Your Input Needed on the 2024 Lead Service Line Inventory
The Lead Service Line Inventory (LSLI) submittal is upcoming in 2024. There are groups working in Maine
with the Drinking Water Program (DWP) to better understand the challenges faced with the inventory.
We are looking for utilities to fill out a brief survey about the LSLI to gather information about how they
are progressing. This survey was created by a Maine LSLI working group in cooperation with the DWP. It
will aim to help give an overview of what Maine is seeing for service materials, and potential challenges
with completing the survey.
Only one submittal per system or PWSID is needed, please make sure someone in your utility fills the
survey out. It is hosted by Maine Water Company’s GIS. Please respond by Friday July 14th. The survey
should take under 10 minutes.

This survey is meant to capture an initial estimate of the number of Lead Service Lines (LSLs) in the State of Maine. The information you provide will not be published as attributable to your system and will not be used for regulatory purposes. This survey will help the DWP and other groups working on the Lead Service Line Inventories (LSLI) in Maine.
